Friday Five of the Elements

Our Friday Five
1) Do you have a favorite element? Is so, what is it?
Hmmm... I like them all, metal is probably my least favorite, but it's dominant in my Taoist astrological chart, go figure.
2) What's the weather like where you live? (hot, sunny, wet, dry, windy or cold, etc.)
It's pretty hot right now. Dry and hot with the fires. Of course, in Santa Monica, where I often am, it is moist too. In the mornings and evenings there is often an ocean fog or mist hanging in the air.
3) Do you like to swim in the ocean?
I do! I like swimming far out where it's calmer.
4) Did you study chemistry in school? Did you like it?
Yes and yes.
5) Do the elements show up in your spiritual life or religion? (symbolic candles, the smoke of incense, the cleansing of water, or a connection to the land)
We light three special candles on the altar in my Tao practice and the I Ching is all contains the elements as combinations of yin and yang. My family is Jewish and of course there are many symbolic candles and lights.

Hello my lovely..'s,
I love All of your questions, this Friday:) I am a lover of land, spirit and s'comsa…..etc~
Through all that we journey through and are enduring, as far as hurricanes, and other influential earthly extraordinary up bringings, my prayers are always a thankful regimen that I wake up to, and do the holy mass four.
The globe on my alter, [North, East, South and West] is what my prayers of betterment is spinning around to……a peaceful understanding, a home for the homeless, an enlightenment to/for the community….a better stance for all, in other wards:)
To my Global alter I pray with deep respects to - the himmel/heaven above, and pray for all of it's interaction of 'world harmony, peace and understanding', to become intuitive and be welcomed in this trait of a unified on going blessing/cherishment, and towards our home land as one, that spills/pours ~ LOVE:)
