From our team bloggy.
1) What have you seen today that is beautiful?
Photos of flowers online and the eyes of a person I love.
2) Who in your life is beautiful inside and out?
Many people, my sister, my uncle, my boyfriend, many of my friends. My grandma was a master of being beautiful inside and out.
3) What part(s) of nature do you find beautiful?
I love looking up at the trees from below and seeing the leaves silhouetted against the sky, but of course, so many things.
4) Is there a piece of music or song(s) you think are beautiful?
I have been enjoying Carlos Nakai's flute music.
5) What color(s) are most beautiful to you?
I love all vivid colors, they affirm life.
What about you?

“….sometimes the challenge is to see the beauty in times both dark and light.”
That quote from Jessica, I believe is so clear and right on target. In THESE CHALLENGING TIMES I SEE:
1. Today it was The Sun shining on my little garden plot.
2. LittleBear my companion spirit dog named after Chief LittleBear (Cheyenne-Western Cherokee chieftain) who forgave those who murdered his wife, child and spirit animal.
3. Always The Sky. Often I am blessed with a Bald Eagle flying overhead, particularly when I am contemplating my purpose on this Path of Beauty and Wisdom Fire. It happens so many times….
4. So many: Nakai, Mirabal (Music from a Painted Cave), Matsui (piano piece Light Above the Trees) but most of all brings tears to my eyes is Louie Armstrong's “What a Wonderful World” (I see trees of green, red roses too….children laughing…).
5. The saffron salmon-hue of the morning, the midnight blue of evening light from The Sun giving up his reign over the skies to his wife The Moon as she takes up the reins to govern the nightsky….
Me? What about me? I am a divine beautiful being created to inspire others to keep the flame burning, to walk their talk and to find beauty everywhere, 'cause it really is there ALL THE TIME WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. DON'T WAIT FOR THE SUN TO RISE. BE THERE BEFORE HE RISES. YOU WILL BE BLESSED TEN-FOLD! Here is a poem about Beauty I wrote a few years back:
” A Great Beauty Awaits You ”
©2002 by TwoHawk Speaking for White Eagle
To those whose heart is open, willing to take a stand; whose eyes shine brightly glistened with tears
Whose ears hear the cry of a wounded land; whose steps never falter where others only crawl
Whose mind never sleeps
Who face the dangers of The Fall,Beauty Unknown awaits them,
Its part of Grand Mother's Plan
Unwinding, unraveling the mysteries back home, tumbling down steep canyons adjoining the dry riverbanks
Travelers of The Heart seem destined to roam.
The feet of these travelers soon become hot, calloused and sore.
One day, however, they will tread water along a different shore.
Where Islands in The Middle lead to cool inner places that open up the doors below.
Here The Spirited Mists of Avalon rise with The Heartwaters while angels peer into their faces.
They touch their brows, speaking softly of moonlight, of diamonds and lace
Soft silvery blankets spinning Wheels of Love in such Divine Inner Space.
Mothers of Great Beauty massaging their weary feet, wrapping their loins tenderly with Love, hands lovingly placed.
Beauty Caressing Beauty knowing all that they've faced.
Few have known how the love of Grand Mother Earth and Her Sacred Ground, The Ancient Lore,
Can cool our darkest fears and remove our tears.
Few have know how much Beauty Lies beneath Her celestial floor.
Then again, few have dared to travel that deep
Beneath the surface of Their Fears before!
