From the Team Blog :)
1) Do you have a lucky charm? (socks, coins, small rubber chickens?)
Hmmm...I have a necklace of Buddha that I wear most days and it brings me a sense of peace and reminds me to look to the Buddha nature and True Heart. i also think it gives me a little extra luck ;)
2) Have you ever found a four-leaf clover? (and what happened?)
Yes I did. i remember finding these all the time in high school. I guess we spent a lot of time sitting on the grass chatting it up. I don't remember anything directly happening, but I did have a really great high school.
3) Do you throw coins into fountains for wishes?
I used to, but haven't in a long time. Now I mostly wish on my own heart.
4) Do you have any quirky or unique superstitions?
I still don't like to pick up coins on the tails side.
5) Have you ever seen a shooting star? (did you make a wish?)
Yes, I have. I find if you are patient and stare into the clear night sky you will see them. I find it magical. But, you know those stars faded so long ago. Of course, I still make wishes. I find shooting stars a good enough cause, they're cosmic and it seems like a better bet than the coins and eyelashes.
What about you? Come on? Give it a go. Just copy and paste the questions in your own blog or add it as comments here.

Help

1 … my daughter has to be my lucky charm.
2 … like you, i spent a good deal of time in the clover field, but never notice any positive outcome finding those with 4 hearts … perhaps because i’m not irish?!
3 … of course, if i have a coin.
4 … no … not that i know of … or rather, not that i know anything i am superstitious about is quirky in the least bit! they are all perfectly rational and necessary to maintain my well being. BUT what is it about the tail side coins? lately EVERY penny i pick up for good luck or just to add to my net worth, is the lincoln memorial. perhaps i’m the only one picking them up and you beat me to the heads-up ones?!
5 … yes and i always make a wish even though now i know it is more likely a meteor (if i’m truly lucky) or, most likely, a piece of space debris/trash falling out of orbit and disintegrating in the great atmospheric incinerator in the sky. but I’ll take whatever it is to create the opportunity to *wish upon a star* and think of it as celestial recycling!
1. I have lots of lucky charms, a Tibetan pendant from my sweetheart, a Quan Yin I wear around my neck, semiprecious gemstones, coins, old ticket stubs, etc., etc., etc.,
2. I have not yet found a four-leaf clover.
3. Do you throw coins into fountains for wishes? Yes.
4. Quirky or unique superstitions? Sure, I make them up as I go :-). What the fun of superstitions if they aren’t quirky?
5. Have you ever seen a shooting star. Yes, I’ve probably seen a hundred or more during my 58 years. And, I usually do make a wish. It is just such an inspiring sight to witness!
