Hello!
I posted this in a Group recently, but thought to add it here for good measure ;)
I just wanted to share some tips for those of you new to the site. This really is a magical place and a community rich with extraordinary people and ideas.
So, here are some links to help you navigate and explore and learn more about the site :)
Need a little help setting things up?
Wanna discover cool content on Gaia and explore?
And, what else can you do here on Gaia?

I just wanted to share some tips for those of you new to the site. This really is a magical place and a community rich with extraordinary people and ideas.
So, here are some links to help you navigate and explore and learn more about the site :)
Need a little help setting things up?
- Support Page: Learn how to set up your profile, invite friends, blog & more.
- Gaia FAQ: Get your basics covered!
- Support Pod: Get support from the Team or offer help & advice to other members.
- Gaia Lounge: This is an excellent place for new members, meet others, ask questions & find answers.
Wanna discover cool content on Gaia and explore?
- Think Tank: A place for new ideas to help the site & community.
- Gaia Community Groups: Connect with people & share your dreams. Search through hundreds of Groups to find others who share you interests. You can also start your own Group!
- Team Blog: Find updates from the Team and get the latest Gaia news.

And, what else can you do here on Gaia?
- Share ideas with your fellow scholarship applicants right here in this pod.
- Meet new people. Reach out. I think you'll find Gaia members are kind, interesting and unique.
- Blog: What do you want to say to the community?
- Comment on the blogs of other members. Just browsing these can be inspiring. You can search the Members list by latest blog entry to find current ones. You can use the global search box (just to the right of the Gaia logo on the top-left of each page) and type in a keyword to find blogs covering your interests and passions.
- Send a message on the Grapevine to your friends at Gaia. You'll find this shout out section on the left hand side on their profiles. If they send you a message back, you'll see it on the left hand side of your profile.
- Post videos and photos.
- Spread the love :) A kind word from you can make someone's day!

Help

Thanks, Jessica!
This is very helpful.
Hugs XOXO
Thanks a lot… I thank Ladybear also for pointing me to this blog.
However, I still feel that a compiled list of the active pods with their main objectives would make an excellent ready reckoner (to guide specific newcomers) for newborn Ambies like yours truly :). If there are none, perhaps a few of us can join hands in creating one. I can help within my limitations, but I suppose it needs more than one person.
this is soo organised! Thank you
These are wonderful, Jessica. Thank you so much! And Eli… I love the suggestion for a 'Groups Guide.' I'll add it to the list for our revamp.
Thank you all for your wonderful comments. I am so glad this is a help.
^.^
Perfect. I've always wanted to get more involved in the inner workings of Gaia, but found myself stuck to the fringe… not because of lack of intention, but because the navigation always seemed unclear to me, and too difficult to use to be worth the time.
Now, with this post and the new nav-bar (which I can't wait for) I'm BAAAAACK. Some of you may even know me, but times have changed and I've a new alias and a new name!
The Poetic Terrorist,
aka. James Lord Bard
P.S. I've put together some of the core writings that Gaia inspired me to do over the past year. Its been one full year, just recently, that I discovered the site and befriended Siona and others. So here is my gift!
Compiled Spiritual & Occult Rants from Jan to Jun 2008Covering subject matter such as:
– Expressions of Divine Secrecy
– Axioms of My Awakening
– The Voice of the Universe
– A Guess is Not a Proof
– The Texture of Truth-Telling
– Humility and Pure Learning
– The Worship of Immortality
– Silent and Solitary We Ascend
– The Compulsion of Labelling
– To Share and Err in Solitude
– Forgetting Myself
– Survival is Exactly Equal to Death
– Origins of the Spirit
And last but certainly not least:
– Unity
Again, this is almost entirely Gaia-inspired writing, a snapshot, if you will, of what I've learned surrounding and because of the efforts of this site. It is wholy original writing, to be included in a much larger book on spiritual revolution that I continue to work on.
CELEBRATE GAIA! Thank you Siona et al!!!
Jessica, this is wonderful & helpful, TY TY TY, Merci, Gracias, Tak, etc.
Thanks for usual great ideas, Jessica!
How about we add: start co-creating and collaborating on new exciting projects? We are in the right place (Gaia) for that. Music, video, other ideas…
and spread love like this guy ;)
Thank u Jessica
This is ABC of Gaia
It is welcome note to new comers
Thanks a lot
Princess, thanks ;)
James, I am thrilled that this and the new nav brought you back in action. And, I am so excited to explore your Gaia-inspired writing. Thank you SO much.
Mikey_Dee, you are welcome, avec plaisir, de nada, selv tak!
Sixth Sense, I always love your projects. And awww…
Birasa, I'm very happy this helped you get oriented :)
Jessica love what you did here, so helpful and useful for anyone new. Thank you.
Jessica, I found this so helpful that I copied it and put it in my blog, so I could access it easily- Of Course, I made it clear that it was Shameless copying and cited you as the author/authoress.
Thank you, it's just that I found it so well constructed & helpful. ( had I been Cybersavvy enough, I would have posted a link, but alas, such is not the case)
blessings,
Mike
Highly appreciated. A good guide for every one , who looks for some help. Easy reference guide.
nice work
Well this just made my life a lot easier! :) Thanks a million, as always.
Thanks for the guide!
Great guide, Jessica. I’ve posted it on Gaia Networking’s New to Gaia board.
Thank you, Jessica, this is really a good simple basic guide. The link Meenakshi posted just above is great too, and we also have compiled an entire orientation program disguised as a couple of posts at the beginning of this thread in Gaia Networking Group. One can dive very deeply into the site and learn how to get around and do things, via the links and suggestions there; most of them are still useable, even though they are from the community's previous incarnation as Zaadz.
Thanks a bunch!!
Blessings, OM Bastet
